Travelog: The Vacation Begins… in Capri!

I bought this 10 EUR hat in Sorrento to prepare me for Capri *hahaha cue music from Robin Leech’s show, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous*

My 7 year old niece EC shot this photo 🙂

Hehe if I were living the lifestyle of the rich and famous, I’d have either purchased that wide- brimmed Prada striped hat or a Missoni one 🙂 *or a Miu Miu hat would’ve done just as well :D*

But hoohoo, I will have to make do with my 10 EUR one 🙂 *it will serve its purpose not just as a hat to shield me from the hot sun, but also as a face coverup for when I start dozing off in the car (with my mouth open as I sleep hahaha… unpleasant visual, hello)!!*

So, after our hydrofoil trip from Sorrento into the Isle of Capri, we land ashore!

We rode the funiculare up to Capri. This was the view.

We stayed at the Hotel Quisisana– incidentally this was the hotel that hosted the wedding reception of E host Giuliana Di Pandi to Apprentice winner Bill Rancic 🙂

This is probably the island’s biggest hotel

Our bedroom was all- white. Tiles were white. It was a nice, big room. If this room wasn’t in Capri, it’d have reminded me of an all- white tiled bathroom hehehe.

Room 329– Very clean!

The bathroom was so white as well!

The best thing about this bedroom was the balcony! We have a nice, big balcony which would’ve been a great place to have an intimate cocktail party for the family 😀
