Travelog: Lucerne (April 2009)

We passed by Lucerne, Switzerland on this trip. I was in Lucerne some 7 years ago, and it’s nice to come back to this city. Nothing has changed. It’s still the way I remember it 🙂

I took another photo of the old “bridge”, this time I took it with the intention of having it printed (so I can hang the photo on my wall one day :D). I love my G7 Canon camera. It has taken so many photos (including my Montreux ones which I loooooove! Sorry I praised myself here hahaha) and I realize I don’t even need to upgrade to an SLR to take shots like these 🙂 *thanks again to IM, my camera sponsor :D*

We had a quick lunch at this cafe. I had bratwurst. The main language spoken here in Lucerne, is German. It’s so interesting to note this– in Montreux, it’s French. In Geneva, it’s French. And now in Lucerne, it’s German. And in Lugano, it’s Italian! One country, several languages 😉 *not even dialects!*

We only had a short time to spare in Lucerne, so I headed straight to Hermes to check out what they had 😀 *trust Mrs.T to equate visiting Hermes with “sightseeing”, so when I say “sightseeing”, it already includes a trip to H hahaha:D*

Wallets. I have to say this– I’ve owned a Dogon wallet (the taupe colored wallet above with the “tongue” is a dogon wallet) for a few years now, and I have never looked for another wallet ever again. It’s really the perfect wallet in my honest opinion. Seriously worth the amount, although I could use some discount hahaha… the darned thing costs more than an LV Neverfull GM! 🙁 *chokes* I wonder why H doesn’t offer merchandise at recession prices 🙁

Next stop: Italy! 🙂
