Travelog Day 7: Food Food Food at EOS

I know, I know, I said that Santana Row entry will be the last post prior to flying off to Vegas. Well I lied. 😀 You know how enslaved I am to this blog. I can’t help but post more stuff 🙂

So while I’m away, you can continue to ogle at the food. We went out tonight with KYJ and GJ for dinner at EOS at 901 Cole Street (and Carl St) , SF. For reservations, call (415) 566-3063.

This is a very good restaurant that serves Asian Fusion cuisine and my DH loves this restaurant. So this post is to sorta treat my DH to these mouthwatering dishes (eye candy, honey!). And hey, this entry goes out to you baghag foodies too 🙂

We had ginger squash soup– This soup is not good enough to rave about. I think I can even make a better version of this *hehehe braggart!*, and hags, I don’t cook very well

Enoki mushroom dumplings– These are VERY VERY good. Very flavorful.

Thai Salad– This is quite possibly the best salad I’ve ever had in San Francisco in the more recent years. Just delicious! The dressing was a little tangy but it doesn’t leave a lasting sour taste in the mouth. Excellent.

Catfish with sprouts– Ok don’t ask me how this was cooked. I know it was panfried, but don’t know what that sauce is. I don’t normally ask, I just eat. And this dish is Mmm MmMm Goood!

Prawns with Corn Kernels– This is another very good dish. It doesn’t look so appetizing, but a bite out of this dish made a believer out of me 😀

Beef with onions and heirloom tomatoes– I think I’ve eaten a similar dish before but at another restaurant. The beef in this dish is quite tender. Overall, not great but definitely not bad either.

Duck breast with spring onions– I know I shouldn’t compare the duck breast I had last night, but I can’t help it. The duck meat is dry on this one. Last night’s was excellent, although both these dishes are cooked differently.

And for dessert (see we CAN’T not have dessert!!)

Bananamisu (Banana tiramisu!) with caramelized bananas– This is such a wonderful treat. The tiramisu is very moist and almost mousse like. Two thumbs up!
Fruit Crisp with Cinnamon gelato– Another yummy treat for me. This was my dessert choice of the night. I love mixed berries, and this dessert had it all from blueberries, raspberries, to blackberries (and I think boysenberries). The cinnamon gelato made the flavors come together so well. Yummy yummy!!

I hope you enjoyed this food blog 🙂 I’ll try to update when I’m in Vegas 😀 Keep on checkin’ hags! And don’t forget, if you want a bag, you may text/ SMS me at (+1415) 283-5591!

Please also take note, that I only check my tresormakati@gmail.com mail. I DON’T CHECK my yahoo mail. Please forward correspondence to gmail.com address (but I’m best reachable via my mobile number which I’ve indicated above)

  1. Mrs T, you know I am not a baghag, but perhaps a foodhag (aside from a makeup hag and a shampoo hag)…and the food looks soooooooo good. I’m so hungry!

  2. I don’t know why you talk about how clothes won’t fit you and how your eating habits are affecting your weight, because from that picture, you are skinny!
