The Fendi Peekaboo Project!

One of the fashion brands I’ve loved since the early 90s is Fendi. Fendi created the iconic baguette back in those days and I still vividly remember how I had to keep going into the boutique to pester their sales associates to sell me the ad campaign baguette which I had been saving up for *haha, no EQ, and I remember foregoing good meals for that bag haha*. Fast forward to today, Fendi continues to create the most incredible to-lust-for bags. The peekaboo bag is one that I have resisted to purchase because initially I thought they were on the heavy side, but then they made smaller versions and uh oh there goes my bag ban! 😀

And in celebration of Fendi’s newest boutique in London’s New Bond Street, the house has launched a Peekaboo project in collaboration with 10 iconic women in a bid to raise funds for Kids Company. I was looking through the bags that these women personalized and wooooow I am loving 5 of the 10 and I cannot not share them here! The best thing about these collaborations is, the bags are unique– only 2 are made of each design, one of which goes to the celebrity (who personalized it) and the other is up for grabs by way of an auction at!

Ladies and gents (who are generous enough to indulge their ladies haha), here are my 5 picks!!

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Peekaboo. Classy, understated. Definitely a bag you can use easily and even daily!

Cara DelaVingne’s Peekaboo has that fun, sporty appeal to it. It screams young and super fun!

This has to be a personal favorite out of these 5 that I already like– Adele’s Peekaboo. I looove those sexy eyes!!

Georgia May Jagger used a beautiful photograph that she took herself to form the outer “shell” of the bag. It’s not a very easy bag to carry because of the bold print but if you don’t wear prints on your back, then this bag is perfect! Solid colored outfit + printed bag= striking without being too “loud”. I like that!

Zaha Hadid’s Peekaboo. Expect nothing less in design when it comes to Zaha Hadid. This is like carrying a precious part of her architectural design genius on your arm. I love this too because it is really very signature Zaha.

Bag hags and gents *haha I had to include the gents!*, you actually have until May 30 to place your bid on one (or more) of these bags. I am constantly monitoring the current bid prices of the bags as well haha. I am also still hoping there is a generous soul out there who would gladly indulge me with one while helping to raise money for the charitable foundation that Fendi chose 🙂
