The British Connection

Whee I got a bit of rest today, plus I got to do a quick update of Tresor. Last night, I was telling II that after this event, I am throwing in the towel and heading out for a nice vacation *psst, tight budget here, so it better be somewhere cheap*. I can’t believe that in two weeks more weeks, we would have already reached the last month of the year. Wow, that Chinese horoscope prediction for my year was fairly accurate– this has been an exceptionally good year for me (but not for my finances though *bawl*). But hey, let’s toast to that! *you, me, and everyone else are still not a cent richer at the end of the year, what with all the bags that we want and end up buying!*

Since one of the reporters from a London broadsheet is coming to the launch, I deemed it’s high time we surf shop at Harrod’s! 🙂 *see the British connection now? hehe*

Loewe Amazona in brown and gold suede leather. While I still have my reservations about owning a suede bag (we live in the tropics), I would actually love to have this bag. The brand Loewe is one of the Spanish Crown Princess Letizia’s favorite. You know that if it’s got that royal approval, me likey likey 😀 The Loewe logo was also created in 1975- my birth year (shhhh now you know I’m not 17 :D). This beautiful classic piece is made in Spain. Natch 🙂 Priced at £595 (US$1,120).

Philip Treacy Armadillo Clutch. A well- known milliner who has made hats for the Queen of England and many other aristocrats and high society ladies, Philip Treacy also has a line of quirky clutches which use images like tiled US dollars, Campbell soup cans. This Armadillo winged clutch is actually made of cobra skin. It’s very pretty, and is price at £849 (US$1,598). C’est chic et c’est exotique! 🙂

Lulu Guinness Gardening Molly bag. I love this kooky satin bag! Lulu has been one of my all time favorite bag brands because of her quirky designs. If you’ve been staying on the safe side of bag hagging, you need to get out of that comfort zone and get this bag. It’s a fairly good first quirky bag for conservative hags also because of its friendly price of £79.97 (US$151).

Here’s something cute to end my entry. This is Venus all blinged up :D. She is the dog of Mrs. Marcos. She barks at anything and everything (see, I’m not the real biatch haha), but I guess we are friends (well, she licked my ankles haha).

TWO DAYS TO GO!! (well, make that one day to go. It’s Thursday already!)
