The Biggest Loser at Shu Uemura *who else? Thebaghag!*

My day started well. I met up with some peeps for lunch for a project that my galpal and I are involved in *THAT is exciting :D*. We had our 1pm lunch meeting at Tsumura (located the 2nd floor of 88 Corporate Center, Valero corner Sedeno Street Legaspi Village– the bldg is located right across the parking lot of Paseo Center) and it lasted til 4pm!

The big event was tonight– Shu Uemura’s biggest party of the year. The extravagant looking invitation (with a mirror and a CD) said to dress up in something that is a reflection of you. So I thought, hey, I will dress up tonight. The party was at the Rockwell Tent.

I wore a gray column dress by Laundry. Dressed my neck up with my favorite bling Miu Miu necklace, and carried my uber awesome find Prada clutch. *woohoo label whore in action! Wiggle wiggle*

Today is the second day that I am out at night. Wow, talk about social party marathon, eh? Ok it will stop after tomorrow for sure 🙂 I am running out of clothes and bags to use *muwahaha donations are gladly accepted!*.

The event was well attended. We overheard rumors that everyone will receive the Php 20,000+ Motorola razr phone. That sure got my spirits up! Hey hey hey, this event is worth attending then! I was almost always present at Shu Uemura events and wow, was this the thank you from them? I was sooo excited I almost danced *hehe pathetic* 😀

But hey, much to my dismay, they were actually raffling off the phones. All 100 units of them. So I thought, I can’t be THAT unlucky right? *Har har har, joke’s on me!* Well what do you know! Further disappointment awaited this shallow baghag *sob*. Everyone around me got a phone, EXCEPT me *bawl!!*. We Losers were relegated to receiving the free Shu Uemura lipstick big lootbag, but again, talk about being doubly unlucky. I didn’t even get the big lootbag with the lipstick that the other VIPs got. The reception ladies said they ran out of them bags! *BAWL*

So there ya go, peeps. I guess I am really 1. unlucky *I never win anything*; 2. not a VIP *I just pretend I am one all the time hahaha, hello, pretentious baghag!*, and 3. a plain, old, big loser *looohoooo-serrrr*.

And oh yeah, not only did I not win anything, I also lost MY VOICE! *ain’t life just grand? Pffft!!* Now THAT pisses me off. I just had a drink of cold water while I was sorta screaming above the noise while chatting with peeps, and kapow, voice lost! 🙁 How could my throat fail me SO much ? 🙁 *sob big time*

Anyway, there was a LOT of eye candy at the event (and peeps that I haven’t seen in sooo long), so I walked away from the party, happy with the photos I took. 🙂

‘Twas a fun, fun event overall. I may have been a belle of the ball, but I was one of the biggest losers of them all *bawl big time*. But let me walk away from this with a smile. Sometimes we need to take a slice of life’s humble pie and take it all in stride *we have to pretend that we have good breeding, hags! Don’t bitch so much all the time! Snicker :D*. There is always something to look forward to– in my case, my website’s relaunch which will happen on Monday the 30th! 🙂 *now that is one thing I secretly dread actually because I really, really hope you hags like the look. I personally love it, and my new webguy worked so hard for it!*

So there. No new phone, but a new website coming up (same address at www.tresormakati.com). And perhaps, a new bag this weekend?? (Ok if only I get a bag sponsor…:D Any volunteers?? *giggle giggle*)
P.S. It’s officially ONE YEAR yesterday when I began writing a blog 🙂 WOO HOO!!!
