The Baghag is Sick. AGAIN!!!

UGH.

Yes, I am sick. Again!! The incidents in the past week have probably bogged me down so much and stressed me out in that I was hardly able to get good nights of sleep. So now, I’m down and out again.

But for the peeps out there who are not in this hopeless predicament like me, there’s the weekend Rockwell Bazaar to go to. It’s never too early to start your Christmas shopping. I already actually have my top picks.

Krusell phone casesPerfect to give away to good friends who have really cool phones but no phone cases 😉 These are also available at Schu.

And for some of my younger godchildren, Zoobies! These pillows come in different styles (giraffe, monkey, lion, croc) and are perfect little buddies to bring with you to your car. The booth that sells these zoobies are also carrying a new line of kiddie shoes– Bical.

they’re the cutest things– like socks and shoes in one 😀 t I’ve bought a few pairs for my DKs already 😉

Anyway, I hope you gals and guys can go out and have some fun this weekend. I have a full schedule ahead tomorrow and unfortunately I cannot cancel any of them. 🙁 So I guess I need to get some sleep now or I’ll feel like my body’s deadweight again.

Ugh *positive thoughts positive thoughts*

P.S. To the anonymous who commented that there are a lot of starving children out there– of course I am widely aware of that, but you can’t tell people where to spend their money and fault them for spending it somewhere you don’t approve of. That’s the very reason why some people work their backs off, to provide for their families, and if there’s a little extra left, to enjoy the little luxuries of life every so often (take note, splurging is not an everyday thing *unless you’re Paris Hilton*– *cough* mature people have priorities). Everyone’s entitled to enjoy the hard money they earned– so long as they don’t do anything illegal. So here’s something back at you– in leaving that comment, I’m sure you are also kind- hearted enough to care (that’s why you left that comment in the first place). So you might want to donate a small portion of your earnings to a children’s foundation I also support called the House of Refuge, located in Provident Village in Marikina. They shelter around 30 children, and they care for the orphaned, abandoned, unwanted and neglected as well as abused. The great thing about this organization is that they provide social services, aid in spiritual development, education, health care, socio-cultural and recreational activities, and psychological evaluation of the children. If you care enough, please do look into that, especially since the holidays are coming, and I’m sure they’d widely benefit from your generosity. If you’d like more information, you can get in touch with me (leave me a comment) and I will gladly put you through the right people for this. 🙂 That’s all

  1. Lurker and doctor here. Word of advice. You need to see a doctor already for your health because you get sick too often. Get well soon bag hag.

  2. mrs t, considering that the title of your blog is “the baghag diaries”, that anonymous reader can hardly expect you to discuss the virtues of giving, not that you would flaunt your charitable works. your blog gives us ordinary people a chance to get to know the finer things in life; since not all of us can afford to buy designer bags all the time, or some even not at all, your blog gives us a chance to enjoy them thru your experiences 🙂

it doesn’t follow that if you enjoy the finer things in life, you are selfish and blinded to the needy.

i have a friend who always tell me that even if she has the money, she wouldn’t buy designer bags, sometimes she would even shut me out when i talk about bags, it hurts a bit but i let it go because i value her friendship and she is a very kind person. but sometimes i wonder if she has extra money to spare, would she be able to resist buying designer bags? it’s very easy to be judgmental when you are not in that position…. i think you call it reverse snob 🙁

my hat’s off to you for your kind and respectful response to that anonymous reader. even when he/she wrongly judge you, your reply was still tactful.

  3. yes i splurge as well when i can just to reward myself for the hardwork i do………and know that i deserve it!!

what many people don`t know is that many people also give or help out when we can to charities…….

giving does not always mean funds sometimes your time to do good is more valuble.

i agree mrs. t……..if you have not step on anyones toes and have not hurt anyone……….

there is nothing wrong in enjoying life………

  4. Hey! Hope you get well soon. When you have the time for it, can you feature bags for men as well? Thanks!

  5. you know ladies, the world of bags is not for everyone; this ms anonymous who wrote you on starving kids should just STOP visiting this blog bec her entire system simply cannot accept it. there is a time and place for everything. if you cannot take the bag world talk, then get out of the rain my dear! you do not have to insult mrs T.

if you are more concerned about the poor, then by all means, visit charity blogs – not this one. ok?

have a nice self-realization! dont be so bitter! tsk tsk tsk

  6. oh well! i love your bags Mrs. T! I actually wish I could have a BAG CLOSET! ahahah ^^ you know, like the walk-in shoe closet in SATC The Movie 🙂 that’d be awesome, ne?

    xoxo

  7. wow, ms.t’s comment to that was quite well handled:) but i think aym’s comment was a bit uncalled for, it’s so snobbish in my point of view, and to think that it wasn’t even meant for her,
