Soleil vs. Jaune… A Color Comparison

Hermes came out with the new color, Soleil (sun), this year. Hermes lovers have asked me how striking or how subtle is the difference between Soleil and Jaune (yellow). Let’s not even bring Curry into the picture because the yellow shade of Curry is far from Jaune or Soleil. Curry has a more “mustardy” hue to it.

The Jaune actually seems brighter than the Soleil. The Soleil looks like a shade lighter than Jaune. Although the color seems a little similar when I compared the Soleil Togo Kelly to the Jaune Epsom Birkin. The Epsom version of Jaune seems a little more taxi-cab yellow, but the Clemence version is a little mix of taxi-cab yellow of citrus- lemon yellow.

As for me, I honestly can’t decide which color looks nicer to me. Soleil or Jaune? It’s a toss- up. 🙂 *Can I say I like both? hehe*

P.S. Is it bad for me to say I’m craving for a good steak right now? I had rib eye at Santi’s (Rockwell) the other day and somehow it didn’t satisfy my “thirst” for steak. Bah. Unfortunately I need to stop these super “full” meals since I am holding off on bikram yoga this week– I almost fainted the other day because of a surprise asthma attack while doing yoga!! Ugh. I’ll probably go with a lighter steak meal.. *Methinks* Elbert’s Cheese steak sandwich, anyone? 🙂
