Singaporean Men Syndrome?

A few days ago, I tweeted about this, and I got a reply saying that I just “experienced Singaporean Men’s Syndrome”. What?

Ok, so we went to Universal Studios, Singapore over the weekend. It was so much fun, by the way 🙂 Worth visiting (4-5 hours should be enough time for you to cover everything)

Anyway, while we were waiting in line for one of the rides, I noticed a man carrying his girlfriend’s purse with ease. At first I was hesitant to believe that he was carrying his girlfriend’s purse. He carried the bag like it was his own. And then I saw them snuggling and cuddling. So yes, he was with his girlfriend. And it was her bag.

I was intrigued. How a man could comfortably carry his girlfriend’s purse in public was really mind- boggling. I rarely see this in the Philippines– a man carrying his girlfriend/wife’s purse– with ease.
I find it so strange but fascinating that I couldn’t keep my eyes off this couple. *Sorry if I caused you both discomfort, but you were both so intriguing! :D*.
Tell me, how do you feel about men carrying their wife/ girlfriend’s purse? Frankly I still couldn’t get used to it. It’s interesting to see this though 🙂 Is this really what they call “Singaporean Men Syndrome”?
What do you peeps think? Should they, or shouldn’t they?
