While in Hong Kong, I met up with my friend SumSum who was with Furla, and she gifted me with a large red Furla Amalfi bag which I had been lusting for but could not find in-store because the red color I wanted was already sold out!
I shrieked with glee when I saw that she had given me this bag– because I had really wanted to purchase the Amalfi as it was not as expensive as other designer bags. And when I first laid eyes on the bag during the presentation at Furla in Milano, I knew I had wanted her.
I was just not quick enough in buying her when I saw her in- store. I remember being too busy to even go into the shop to make the purchase– this was just last February in Milano.
Seriously, this bag is a dream. It is one of the most perfectly functional bags I own to date. I traveled with the bag last night and it was a really easy bag to carry and use. The handles of the Amalfi bag fit right into my trolley’s handle, and when I had to carry the bag, I could carry it on my shoulder with the 2 straps, or use the thicker detachable single strap. I loved the bugatti shape, a classic, and I loved it even more that the bag has 2 enclosure zippers that “meet”. The exterior pocketbook- sized snap flap pocket is perfect for mobile phones and car keys.
I am going to look for more colors of the Furla Amalfi. This is a seriously GOOD bag. And I highly recommend it, hands down. Tried and tested and so far, it’s been fantastic!
