Rafe Totengco is one of the select few accessories designers from the Philippines that has made a name for himself globally.
He is currently in Manila to promote his latest collection. This has to be my favorite of all the pieces:
I am particularly fond of this bag because of the textures, the lines which formed the striking pattern, and the colors. It’s really so on- trend and of-the-moment. It will go perfectly well with neutrals as well as solids– and if you feel bold enough, you can also pair this with something printed. It’s a very light bag and it can also be used as a clutch. Best of all, the bag is very affordable (as compared to most other designer brands).
I’m so glad to have finally met Rafe again– the first time I met him as I recall was at my niece and nephew’s birthday party a few years ago. I had missed his presentation in Paris and it’s great that I got the chance to pop over to say hello this time around.
