Missoni Romantic

Only Margherita Missoni could’ve pulled off a bridal concoction confection (LOL think cake proportions) like this Giambattista Valli gown.
The flower- embellished Missoni silk was fantastic. But I am not too convinced with those sleeves. It reminded me of the “Parisian- designed” wedding gown of Maya Rudolph (Lillian) in Bridesmaids LOL *If you haven’t seen the film, go see it*.

And no, Margherita’s gown was not meant as an asymmetrical sleeved dress.

When she walked down the “aisle”, both sleeves were up. Looked real nice from the back though 🙂
Yes, I know this is far more different than the lace gowns that we have seen of late a- la- Kate Middleton, but I think I’d have left the 80 sleeves back in the 80s 😀 I must admit though, Margherita does look dreamy, and it was such a romantic- looking wedding. Sigh 🙂
The tiara and those laser- cut leather silver sandals were perfect 🙂 Loved that she didn’t leave out the comfort and glamour factor in her wedding 🙂
