Milan Fashion Week: Versace FW 2014- 15

I’m trying to catch up on all the backlogged stories I needed to post. I’m not one of those people who keep their main photo gallery organized and I guess that took its toll on me because I had to go through over 3,000 bad photos just to get to the good photos that deserve to be posted. It’s a nightmare– because I don’t have a steady hand as a photographer, I tend to take more photos than say the average fashion photo blogger, and I end up having so much more photos on my photo gallery. The worst part of that is that I don’t edit and delete the bad photos immediately after each show, and I end up having to go through a lot more. My bad peeps. I was never a good photographer! And I guess I’m also a poor photo “editor” and that contributed to the severe blog backlog! *Silent screams boohoo*

On a good note, the actual subjects of the photos are pretty incredible. Versace was one of the shows which I really enjoyed during the Fall Winter 2014 season. The brand has always been familiar to me, and I’ve always had this connection with the brand since I’ve known of it back in the 90s. This season proved to be a strong one, and the fashion cognoscenti had a lot of firm favorites within the collection. Here are some of the highlights:

The mules are back! Pointy, sky- high, and dangerously sexy!

Primary colors of red and blue with an asymmetrical length skirt on this dress= striking!
vers2

Beautiful neck details with that low V- cut neckline. Versace makes it their business to know sexy!
vers3

Lace-up boots with cut-outs and pin- thin heels were a clear standout in this collection.
vers4

The accessories centered around the signature Medusa insignia.
vers5

Black, gold, and those thigh high boots. This whole outfit was sexy perfection!

This coming season’s accessories were bold, gold, and striking.

The coats were beautiful– they came in blue with black,

and this red with black. The back details served to awe! I was so drawn to it– just as everyone else was!

Donatella Versace knows what the Versace woman wants– her confidence coupled with Versace’s signature aesthetic on her back make her the subject of envy of other women!
