Milan Fashion Week: Furla Bags, FW 2014- 15

I’m already in Paris and as expected, I got a little ill as a result of the lack of sleep and jetlag (3 hour/ night sleep) in Milan, coupled with working 12- hour days filming for Star World! But yes, I can’t complain, because the things I’ve done for this season were incredible and all so memorable, as is always the case!

Furla was one of the brands that had a presentation and I had a quick look- over at their new berry- colored bags for FW 2014.

New shapes were unveiled including these, which are my favorites!

I don’t mind that light pink one in the middle. The bags look a little boxy and seems to have been a modified version of an old Furla classic, the Amalfi. The good security feature about this bag are the zipper pulls on both ends. I particularly liked the hardware placement– tasteful and unobstrusive!
This is another bag that will be launched in six months– and it comes in different colors and 2 sizes. It is very reminiscent of a lot of the smaller bags of today. This would’ve been a cross between the Celine box bag and the Louis Vuitton Vivienne 🙂

Top handle bags are quite popular with Furla– the style remains classic and more feminine. Furla designed these top handle bags to the shape of a bowler bag, and again a good feature at Furla is the bag’s zipper enclosure.

That’s it for now! I’m getting back into the swing of things and am just trying to catch up on rest before Paris Fashion Week officially starts for me– it has started for everybody else but I actually begin my work tomorrow 🙂 Something exciting happening soon during Paris Fashion Week 🙂 Stay “tuned”!!
