Metallics Fever!

An old friend asked me last night, “exactly what is the condition that you have that you can’t talk so much?” (She tells me, the reason why I have chronic sore throat is because I talk too much *oh how true muwahahahaha*)

Here it is (and believe me, for a ditz like me, these are some pretty big words *hehehe*): I have Laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR). I still get the same soreness on my throat, and that burning sensation each time I drink liquids. 🙁 I’ve been switched to yet ANOTHER antibiotic (note this is the 3rd time I switched antibiotics). Let’s see if it works this time.

She was seen attending the Prada show in Hong Kong. She is just gorgeous, and ooooh what really caught my eye, was her gold charm necklace! And speaking of metallics, So Net-a-porter has suggested some nice new metallic bags that are great for summer (but it’s rainy season for us already hehe). Nevertheless, I love metallic bags, and here’s one I particularly like because it is not the conventional design that this brand is more famous for.

PUCCI: At £565.96, this Emilio Pucci bag is a deviation from the funky psychedelic prints that the brand is more known for. The shape of the bag is so fun and cute, while the glass bead embellishments give it a touch of formality. I love the bag, and at net-a-porter, the editors paired it with a nice white coatdress (simply delicious!!).

I found a nice metallic bag as well at our very own local mall, Market!Market! (I swear, this mall should already start giving me freebies since I advertise them so much *muwahahaha freeloading biatch hag alert*). The bag boutique is called Dots (cute), and their metallic bags are quite interesting that it merited a store visit from me (like I’m the bag goddess *muwahaha here we go again with my self- righteousness*). The metallic totes I saw ranged from Php 399 (YES! cheap eh?) to Php 599. It’s nice to own at least one metallic bag, and believe me, it’s a great mood picker- upper 🙂 And hey, don’t worry about metallic bags having the tendency to make one look gaudy. Look at me, I’m soo gaudy all the time *even without a metallic bag*, but I’m sure you can do a wayyy better job than I with metallics, so pile em on!

Alrighty, time for me to stop typing. My DT didn’t go to school today because of tonsillitis (we even share the same type of antibiotics. Aww poor baby). Then DM is picking me up for lunch (She is coming to see the kiddies, then after DT sleeps, we head off for lunch).
P.S. I really am pathetic. So I finally get the TRESORMAKATI new website file from my former webmonkey. No no, it’s not up yet. Because now comes the even harder part. Learning to update it from scratch. I am doomed. I have no idea how long this will take me to update. *bawl* So I guess keep watching this space for updates.
