I love Paris in the Fall (and Winter) too!

There are over a thousand… nay, a million reasons to love Paris.

It’s no secret that one of my dreams is to own a pied á terre in Paris some day… *dreamy look*

Let me share 13 reasons (in photos) why I want to go back to Paris…

Sacre Coeur

Mont Martre

Quaint cobblestoned alleys

Fromageries which offer a plethora of cheeses

Shopping at Les Grands Magasins

Watching ballet at the Palais Garnier (I hope to do this one day too)

Madeleine, Rue Royale, Rue du Faubourg, Rue Cambon… (Do these streets sound familiar? :D)

Walking around Les Halles

Looking at the magnificent Hotel De Ville at night

Seeing the L’arc de Triomphe and walking down Champs- Elysees

Exploring the museums… Louvre

Shopping and having a nice dinner at Le Marais

Waking up early to go to the Trocadero for THIS.

It would’ve even been much sweeter if I were able to meet the genius of a jeweller behind this beautiful bangle. It’s a dream to own something of his…. (This would’ve been reason # 14 !) Alas, this jeweller doesn’t see mere mortals like me… *sob* BUT! I have a story to tell for this one 🙂

Nevertheless, my dreams continue to live on, and the countdown to my recent Paris trip blog begins 🙂

P.S. Questions answered:

Anon in Paris: That could’ve been me, but then I wouldn’t be out and about “early” in the morning 😉 And I wasn’t with my mom or inlaw, I was with a good friend of mine 😀 Can you tell me who you are please? *Won’t publish your name or info so please leave comment*

Lalazee, Angela, princess, dr: I totally agree with you. Having all the luxuries in life and going broke for them just isn’t the way to “live” life. And angela (re: clutch): You can check out also Celestina bags at Greenbelt 5. They have these small croc/ ostrich bags with MOP handles. Expensive but beautiful 🙂 You can also go for a pochette– a black one is best. Leave the perfume in the car and the brush 🙂 I know it’s hard to edit the bag contents, but we hafta learn *easy to bring our whole house with us– believe me, I’m known to do that all the time haha 🙂

karen: that’s hilarious 🙂 “wholistic”!!

Vanessa: I’d go for the damier tate. It requires the least amount of maintenance and will last longer than both the mono and the MarcJ bag.

K: Go for a Goyard black and tan st louis. Love it. A damier neverfull sounds nice too since you won’t need to worry about patina on cowhide straps!

H: Oh my goodness– wedding budget for birkins? Wow that’s something else!

MegL— I rely on CV Travel (check the website: www.cvtravel.com.ph) to do all the bookings for me. I’m frankly not one who’d be capable of booking hotels, flights at the very last minute– I get far too harassed, especially if I’m traveling with my siblings and family. I’ve been using CV Travel for a few years already, so I suggest you try her out (my friends use the agency now as well).

I’ve been very impressed with the service. Anyway, my contact person there is Claudette, (+63917) 536- 8545. The one thing I noticed about Claudette is that she doesn’t just book your tour and ticket and get your payment (usually, travel agents services end right there– but not her), she makes doubly SURE that you are ok every single step of the way– there is a reason why I recommend her, and it’s because you really get SERVICE. From the time you correspond with her, book your ticket and tours (or if you don’t want to go for a tour, she can give you excellent suggestions on where to go and to shop– especially in Paris WooHoo), to the time you arrive at the local airport for departure, to the time you land in your destination and to the time you begin your tours, and end your trip! It was really beyond her duty but she always goes the extra mile.

(Waaa I sound like an ad already hahaha– but on a serious note, I proudly endorse them simply because they have been extremely efficient when other agents wouldn’t even give me the time of day– I’m no big client, but the folks at CV Travel make me feel otherwise 🙂 Hahaha)

  1. Hi Mrs. T,
I love reading your blogs about bags but don’t have the means to buy expensive branded ones. Aside from LV / Gucci. Could you suggest brands with classic designs which won’t hurt the budget? Thanks. Mommy

  2. hi. what do you think is the best color for a goyard fidji and croisere? which style is more classic and practical? do you think chanel jumbo classic flap is better than a large 2.55? thanks.
