Fendi: Baguette Mania + Ngee Ann City Opening

The Fendi party in Singapore last night was all about the celebration of the Baguette bag. Because yes, the Baguette bag is without a doubt, back! So if you still kept those Baguette bags, it’s time to whip them out and use them again!
Fendi also timed the celebration and official opening of the Ngee Ann City South East Asia Flagship boutique by globally launching the Baguette Book– the first in the world, right here in Singapore!
I was dressed by Fendi for the event, and I accessorized with my own vintage Fendi baguette– a 12- year old baby to be exact 🙂
My baguette was a part of the ad campaign and it really took me quite some time to buy the bag from Fendi Hong Kong– but that wait was well worth it. I can still remember clearly how I had visited the boutique on a nearly daily basis just to ask if the “ad campaign” baguette is already available. And much to my dismay each time, the sales associate would say that the bag is back- ordered. Until one day, 2 of those came into the store. I literally had to beg the store manager to not call the tai tai who was to be the original recipient of the bag LOL. I begged, yes. It was the ad campaign baguette! I had no EQ for it. LOL. And my tenacity was rewarded 🙂 So now, this baguette really is very special to me and will always be part of my bag collection 😀
My Baguette made it to the Baguette Book 🙂
Six limited edition re-issued Baguettes were also launched, and this below has to be one of my favorites 🙂 It’s called the Baguette Tucano. *See the Toucan bird? :)*

There is a denim version called the Baguette Jeans.

And the Baguette Specchietti

This was my kind of bag heaven. Many, many more Baguettes!

I love this highly embellished one. I’d use this as a clutch!

With Emmanuel Tisseyre, SE Asia GM of Fendi who said “show off your vintage Baguette!” Yep, my Baguette’s a star 🙂 🙂 *beams like a proud mama :D*
Will post more photos from the Ngee Ann City boutique + party photos tomorrow! 🙂 What a beautiful, beautiful night! Congratulations FENDI SINGAPORE!!!
P.S. I have to thank Shu Uemura- L’Oreal Philippines for helping me arrange a last minute make-up session with the talented Teresa Tan of Shu Uemura, Singapore. Thank you for my face 😀
