Feeling Blue… My comfort food

*Big Sigh* I’ve been so “blue” these few days. Not even food or bags or bling (ok unless it’s a 10 carat D- flawless diamond… haha materialistic hag) can cheer me up.

But trust my good ol’ Mommy to know what to do.

The Emerald Garden siopao (the mutant siopao) and I have been reunited once again– after not having seen mutant siopaos for over a year (yes, they don’t leave any siopaos for me because they all go to paying clients… Hmph I pay too though! *snicker*). Anyway, this afternoon, my DM sent me an Emerald box with 4 huge ‘uns.

I was floored. The elusive Emerald Garden siopaos– 4 pieces, mind you, are here, right before my very eyes! Memories about how elusive these guys were all came back to me. I remember at one point I kept calling Emerald (for a good week too) asking to order them. And might I add that I was always disappointed because they were already sold out.

And now, I get to enjoy these “guys” even if I’m so blue. (One at a time only of course– these guys are huge!!) As always, count on my mom to pull me out of my “blues” phase and put that brave smile on my face. I won’t even discuss at length why I’ve been sorta depressed. All I know is this, when you are still single and looking for that “special someone” to be with forever, try to find one who’s already orphaned 😀 *tsk am I revealing too much already?*

So, in true Miranda Priestly style, “That’s all!”

But then again you can always have an Emerald Garden siopao 😉
