When I get invited to a Mandarin Oriental Manila event, I make it a point to go. Always. First of all, Mandarin Oriental Manila is one of my favorite places to go to in Manila (Tivoli, Tin Hau, Paseo Uno= the best places to eat). Secondly, you find the friendliest people in Mandarin Oriental Manila. So when I got an email that a new salon is opening at my fave hotel in Manila, I have to go check the place out!
Le Maquillage, as it turns out, is a salon that is opened by mom-daughter team, Mila and Debbie How. I love mom and daughter teams 🙂 I really love seeing the working relationship of a mom- daughter so this was a must- see. Plus hah, a new salon that I can frequent when I just want to de-stress? I had to check it out!
We arrived rather early, but that’s because we were able to brave the crazy Monday traffic. And now let me share with you who went to the party! *Full house at the Captain’s Bar, by the way!*

We are big fans of salons, so Le Maquillage is something we’ll be frequenting for sure (a big plus is also the fact that the salon is located at Mandarin Oriental Manila). Wouldn’t it be perfect to have a nice business lunch at The Tivoli Grill or some seriously yummy dimsum at Tin Hau *one of the best in Manila*

and then off to Le Maquillage for a nice blow- out or foot spa 🙂 They even have a little private area for people who choose to stay out of prying eyes 🙂 *aaaahhhhh* That’s probably the best way to spend an afternoon, yes? 🙂 *My kinda day!!*
Le Maquillage Salon and Tin Hau are both located at the Mandarin Oriental Manila Hotel. For reservations and general enquiries, please call (+632) 750- 8888
And once again, congratulations to Aunt Mila and her daughter Debbie for the successful launch of Le Maquillage Salon!
