The tactic of “the more you see celebrities carrying a particular bag, the more you end up liking it” seems to have worked for me– though I should be more specific: the more you see THE RIGHT celebrities carrying a bag, the more you like it. Very recently, it was Diane Kruger who was schlepping the Chanel Graffiti backpack.
And not long before Diane was Elle Fanning.
I know I’m a wee bit too late on the Chanel graffiti backpack bandwagon but the more I see it, the more I like it! These two women (or shall I say ladies) carrying the backpack seem to look a lot younger too, with the right choice of clothes to match the bag!
Speaking of Chanel, have you seen the latest Cruise collection which was shown in Dubai? The one standout there was that “oil jug” Chanel bag.
I love that Karl Lagerfeld created this one piece to commemorate the Paris- Dubai collection 😉 I would really like to see it up close too– haha it looks like the perfect water bottle bag actually 😉

It looks great due to the neutral colouring and thoughtfully placed Chanel pattern. The coloured string hanging from the side gives it interest but hangs a bit too much for my taste.
