I think I am still reeling from Kim Kardashian’s bootie- selfie, and then her vavavoom expect-nothing-less-from-Kanye West engagement proposal and drop dead gorgeous Lorraine Schwartz ring. I hadn’t really noticed much else of Kim of late except for that weight loss (good on her), and that humongous ring (which I’ve yet to see very clear photos of up close– haha I want details!). But when she came out wearing all white for her birthday at Tao, I could not help but notice her bag!
The bag is by Dolce & Gabbana, from the designers’ FW2013-14, which I still firmly believe remains one of the best collections of that season in Milan.
Up close, the bags are really highly detailed and embellished. I fell in love with them– with the way they were designed and the way they were beaded like mosaics!
While online e-tailers don’t carry these bags above (including the one Kim was carrying), the closest I’ve seen is this Dolce & Gabbana Mosaic Embellished Bag from Net-a-porter.
The bags from this particular season are definite conversation starters, and that particular piece that Kim carried was precious! If there was one embellished bag that I’d choose to get for FW2013, it’s definitely something from the Dolce & Gabbana Mosaic collection!
