BAG REVIEW: Spring 2007 Bags of Eluxury Part 2

Go Kooba! (P.S. shopdiary: gotta love Kooba this year!) Another bag worth featuring is this Kooba Lena bag for US$625. I am loving the belted bag style and this bag is something that made me say out loud, “me likey likey!” I’ve never really been a fan of Kooba before, but two bags I like in a row? Wow, I’m liking them now 🙂

Tod’s Easy Media bag. Ok I know what you will say. I picked out this bag coz it’s blue. And how right you are 🙂 I’m telling you, cobalt blue, electric blue, cerulean blue, azur blue, royal blue, brighton blue, blue jean… Anything bright blue does NOT make me feel blue. I love it for Spring Summer, and you should seriously get yourself a nice blue bag. This Tod’s bag is an option 🙂 *And nice contrast with yellow loafers too!* Priced at US$1,295.

L.A.M.B. Love Capri Bag. The LAMB “speedy” is so pretty with its blue trim *cough, blue again!* against the white. And like the Speedy, this packs in a lot of stuff. I give this bag one thumb up for style. Put it this way, I’ve never really given LAMB bags much thought after seeing them. My DM has one in plaid and sure it’s nice, but it’s just not me. But this bag made me rethink the brand. I find this bag pleasant to look at. Hence the mention here 🙂 Priced at US$550.

Oh, here’s an example of Filipino resourcefulness and ingenuity. This man sells cloth rags on the street and he carries his inventory with him in a huge striped plastic bag with a shoulder strap 🙂 This is yet another reason why I love the Filipinos, because they just have ways to turn something to their advantage (in this guys case– he is so much better off carrying that huge bag on his shoulders– and that bag is not light!). *Sigh, that’s a lot of hard work lugging that bag around 🙁 I wish people didn’t have to do hard labor anymore* On a lighter note, Filipino men make good baghags too 🙂

And here’s proof that men can carry Hermes birkins well too. Here’s a friend DR, carrying his 40cm navy fjord birkin with gold hardware 🙂 *you make it look goooood :D* Oh,
