Bag Review: Hermes Spring/ Summer 2009

I’m not too hot about fringes which have been showing up everywhere of late, so I’ve been taken aback with the S/S ’09 collection of Hermes. I was very happy with the Passage to India theme last Spring ’08, but this time, the Wild West theme isn’t something you’d really hear me rave about. So do I say nay to Hermes? *Forget for a minute that I’m still secretly lusting after that flowy saffron gown from Spring 08 hehe…*

Great color for this Hermes shoulder kelly.I wonder if Hermes will finally produce it. I think I’d want one please, but not in suede.

That’s more like it 😉 Does it look too corporate, I wonder… Crap does that mean I need to get me a 9-5 job that lets me stay inside an a/c’d environment to be able to carry this bag? Oh and let’s not forget my corporate attire (resurrected from 1996 hahaha– oye it’s vintage!).

The Jypsiere continues to make a runway appearance. It’s a very hot bag at Hermes, almost always sold out. This bag left the SO Kelly in the dust. (Confession: I think the Kelly SO bag is ugly)

Ugh, fringes on the trim– as a messenger style bag too. I have seen a trim fringes bag, and I have to admit, I was appalled haha.

I love the color of the croc on this Medor clutch. I wonder when I will be able to buy me a Medor clutch… I still can’t bring myself to cough up the cash for it… I don’t even have enough evening events to attend to use this clutch often– which means I don’t get value for my money ;).

Woooahhhh the Mega bag 😉 Ever present, never failing to impress or to wow. Even if it’s in black *which I swore off carrying!*

For those frequent travelers, here’s one for you Not my kind of luggage– I’d rather get an LV or a Goyard hardcase, to be honest. (But you won’t see me owning one anytime soon… unless I actually become a member of the Million Miler Club ;D)

*Sigh* Where are all the “IT” bags??? Are we going back to the Classics?
