Bag Review: Fernando Bonastre Brick Bags

Bonastre is one of the independent bag brand discoveries I made during a recently concluded trip to Paris, and one of the styles I really liked is the Brick bag.

I think it’s a really fun piece, almost like a work of leather and metal art that can sit on its own on a pedestal ?

What I do love about it:

  • it is very well made (from Spain);
  • has a very roomy interior but is very lightweight;
  • comes in different color ways;
  • costs a little under €400 (it’s sooo reasonably priced for its quality and design)!!

The bag has no shoulder strap, but it’s really tough not to like the bag even without one– it’s too cute when carried because it can swing back and forth! And oh yes– the leather handle colors are interchangeable!

I personally love it in the camel and gray combination,

as well as the tone- on- tone camel one (seen here with designer Fernando Bonastre).

Do you bag hags like this style? And if you do, what color way do you prefer? Discuss!
