Maison Lancel was established back in 1876 by a woman named Angèle who opened shop near the Opéra Garnier in Paris. It was Angèle’s son Albert who took over operations in 1929, moving the flagship store to where it still stands in Paris today. Lancel has come a very long way since then and is now easily one of the more well- known bag brands in Paris and in Europe. I became an instant fan after having discovered their flagship store– and you already know my love for the Premier Flirt bag, which was actually first designed in 1927 and was only re-christened the Premier Flirt in 2006.
Lancel remains very strong in the luxury bag market and has continued to expand store operations across Asia (the label is finally available in Manila at the Edsa Shangri-la Mall, yay!). The prize for the bag giveaway comes from the Daligramme collection, a re-release of a bag collection made from Italian jacquard canvas and inspired by the alphabet of love which was created by artist Salvador Dali for Gala, a tribute infused with the spirit of French Légèreté, for Lancel.

This Dalidol bag is a collectible Lancel bag as it was only produced in a limited number– 888 bags to be exact. And this bag is #7 out of 888!
