It snowed in Paris– the first snow of the season!

I am so glad to be here for it. I know, it’s a wee bit too shallow, but if you come from a country whose temperatures go from 26 – 35degC, snow is seriously a welcome change. So allow me this shallow sort of happiness 🙂
It had been a pretty long day. When I finally got the chance to hit the shops, stores were already either closed or beginning to close. I love shop windows though. The lights stay on even if the stores are already closed. Here are some of what I saw tonight:

Speaking of Lanvin x H&M, are all the clothes from this collection sold out in your neighborhood H&M stores? I’d love to hear your reports about the collections and how they are faring where you’re at. I can see though that the clothes are not really for everyone. I think the clothes will work really best with women who are slim. Ruffles can be seriously unforgiving. Anyway let me know how things are on your end in regards to the Lanvin collection, and then I’ll do a report from this end as well. 🙂
So before I head to any work- related meetings tomorrow, I hope to wake up in time for the opening at Colette for the Valentino x Gap collection. Can’t wait to see those– and hopefully walk away with some pieces.
For now, it’s time to turn in and rest. What a day! Loving Day 1 in Paris– where it’s below 0 degC right now. Yes, freezing!! 🙂 🙂
