My designer friend Jonathan Riss of the label, JAY AHR is really a genius.
He is one of the few independent designers who has embraced technology and has used it not only to inspire, but also to enhance, document, and willingly share his creative process with others.
This 5 minute video below is worth watching over and over again– in it, he shows you his design lab in Beijing and allows you that peek into his creative process (whee he put a photo of me wearing his beautiful jacket on his mood board), the people behind his work, and the very intricate details of his sheer genius. I was really so bowled over at how it all came together in the end.
