A Slice of Paris through My Almond Eyes

Hi peeps! I apologize for my blogging absence and the rather short posts lately. If you must know, I’ve been under a lot of stress lately because I have been hovering over our store’s contractors *hehe yeah making their lives hell on earth hahaha.. tsk bad bad* in hopes they can actually finish construction of our newest store before next week (because they’re SO behind schedule)– alas, it looks like a next-week-opening is not yet going to happen, but stay tuned!I promise to reveal more about the store very, very soon! 🙂 Meanwhile, more on Paris!

If you’re into scouring for good finds, be it designer clothes (that white jacket there is a vintage Chanel),
furniture (and animals… taxidermists… poor zebras and giraffes),
jewelry, pre-owned designer bags (although the prices are NOT flea market prices haha), designer trunks from Goyard, Louis Vuitton,
or antique books, Les Puces de Paris Saint- Ouen is a place to visit. This is of course after you’ve exhausted all the touristy things to do in Paris (there are never enough touristy things to do, by the way, and Les Puces is a little out of the way).

Then again, you can always have a wonderful slice of Paris by taking the Bateau Mouche, an hour- long ride along the River Seine…

I really love Paris in the Fall… *sigh* And during the holiday season! Here’s a look at Galeries Lafayette now.ENJOY the photos 🙂 *Please ask for my permission if you wish to “borrow” my photos and post them or use them somewhere else*

Christmas is indeed near– more bags coming our baghags’ ways… Congratulations to amour for her newest baby, a fuchsia chevre 35cm Hermes birkin
And a holler to Ritz for her Christmas baby, a Louis Vuitton Denim Neo Cabby MM 🙂
More news from my end and our new store, SOON!!!

P.S. Thanks for the offer, Mrs.Kookie— we had to go with someone that’s accredited with the mall. They’re pretty strict about those suppliers. I will keep you in mind though for anything in the future 🙂

P.P.S. Shameless plug: If you are interested in reading about HERMES bags, please get a copy of the Philippine Daily Inquirer today– My article entitled “Trying to Fathom the Hermes Mania” is published with photos.

Or if you wish to access the story online, here’s the clickable link: http://showbizandstyle.inquirer.net/lifestyle/lifestyle/view/20081127-174780/Trying-to-fathom-the-Herms-mania

Enjoy the read, I hope! 🙂

  4. Hi mrs.T , ive been an avid reader of your blog and its my first time to comment. Well actually my boyfriend and i are planning our new year trip to hongkong and since i plan on spending on shopping, we have to compromise in lodging. I never had to do any planning for our family trips so i really dont know where to start! I remember reading about a cozy hotel you stayed in long before so can you give me any suggestions on decent lodging? As long as its safe, has clean bathroom and has hot water. 🙂 Thank you so much! 🙂
