A Kid at Heart with Snoopy

I grew up watching Snoopy cartoons. I am a big fan of this lovable beagle and that yellow bird Woodstock for as long as I can remember 🙂 I have been meaning to visit the hometown of Peanuts creator Charles Schulz for the longest time but haha it seemed then that I was the only fan in the family. Schulz was born in Santa Rosa California– just an hour or so’s drive from where we live. I wanted to go there for the Peanuts museum but boohoo no one was interested. Snoopy did not belong to my kids’ and my nieces’ generation. Until this year, over the weekend to be precise, when I took them to watch the Peanuts movie 🙂

I’m not sure if it’s still showing where you’re at, but it still is being played in cinemas here in Manila. So after watching the super cute movie which also promoted good values (honesty, tenacity, humility), my kids finally appreciated the cute beagle and this Snoopy Le Sportsac backpack which I just had to buy 🙂

It may not be one of those bags that can carry a lot of things,

and it proooobably looks better on a child than on an adult (ahem like me LOL), but hey, a little modern souvenir of the past isn’t such a bad thing to own. And really, he IS real cute and huggable 🙂

The Snoopy Le Sportsac backpack is still available for purchase online at Macy’s. Not a whole lot of these little guys left though, so if you are a Snoopy fan, get to it before the store runs out of them 🙂

Happy Tuesday, folks!
