Travelog: Paris (Hermes, April 2009)

First order of business in Paris? Visit the Mothership.

OK, I’m stumped. I don’t know what this style is called, but if this were a Goyard bag, it would be the Beluga.

Now the Hermes report:

There were plenty Jypsiere bags, SO Kellys, the new Evelynes, Victorias, Lindys, as well as the new Casual- chic Marwari. I espied TWO amethyst crocodile birkins (they were SOs).

But I am very disappointed to tell you all that at the time I went to Hermes (I actually went there twice too), there were NO available 35cm birkins. *35cm BIRKIN DROUGHT!!!!*

I was offered an earthy Terre colored JPG birkin, a 30cm Swift Pelouse birkin (which by the way, is just gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous, but well the leather is not something that would work with my nails), and a 30cm orange crocodile birkin (which I obviously can never afford *snort*).

I walked away with something though, thanks to a friend, MC (thank you too, ML, if it weren’t for you telling me she’d be there, I wouldn’t have been able to get my new baby :D) Reveal will happen in due time 🙂 It’s too embarrassing to mention the bag right now since it’s recession and I’m “SUPPOSED” to be on a purse ban. *hahaha hypocrite*.
