Travelog: Paris (Chanel, April 2009)

I know, this is pretty foreign to me– I had breakfast. At 9:00 AM. I guess if I had breakfast nooks and roomsas lovely as the ones at this hotel, I’d be inspired to get out of bed early enough for breakfast *hehe ok that was a total joke. I’d probably still have my bed permanently attached to my big fat derriere if I was back home hahaha*

Oh here’s a shot of the hotel lobby. I’d like the living room of my *ahem* Phantom house to look like this (yes, phantom house– we’re still living on borrowed land from my DB, remember? Hahaha)

My next door neighbor in Paris, is Coco Chanel’s “home”. *Hehehe I wish I could say this permanently to everyone… “Oh I live next to Chanel“. Hehehehe braggart!!*

And here are the windows I saw.
Nice clutch! And hey, interesting pewter pants, eh?

A Chanel guitar… Boy, I bet La Bruni would love this from Monsieur Sarkozy (thanks CatP for the idea)

Chanel’s signature paperbag immortalized into a leather tote beside the classic flap! Funky bra 😀 But you know what though, I like the idea of that Chanel “paperbag” tote as a Second bag. It won’t look like you’re lugging your house with your small designer bag. It’ll just look like you went shopping at Chanel 😉

And another Chanel window
Paris was pretty warm when I was there. We didn’t get a lot of time to shop because the next few days in France were spent outside of Paris. Springtime is really wonderful in Paris… *sigh* and with Chanel as your next door neighbor? It couldn’t have been more perfect 🙂

  1. Hi Mrs. T. Sorry. This is OT. Just couldn’t help cause I saw your photos at Chuvaness and Daphne’s sites and wanted to ask where you got the necklace you were wearing at the Vivenne Tam’s HP event.I super love it! Been on the prowl for a necklace of that length but just couldn’t seem to find one. Was it custom made? Hope you don’t mind my asking. Thanks. And Btw… you look great! Love your style.

  2. Hi Mrs T. Your post is very timely – I have been thinking of getting a 2.55 classic and a cambon tote. Which color do you think is better – black or cream/beige? I was thinking 2.55 in black and the cambon in beige. Your advise would be much appreciated. Thanks! 🙂 – Anna C.

  3. I agree–if I had a breakfast nook like that, I wouldn’t mind waking up early every day! Na-inspire ako. There’s a similar couch in Dimensione!
