Is everyone over the Royal Wedding fever yet? Many would answer yes. As for me though, my answer is still a resounding No 😀 But I will not flood my blog today with pictures of the Royal Couple– except perhaps for this official wedding photo 🙂

Now let me get back to my post about Capri 🙂
Ten years ago, I would’ve wanted to have a pair of Capri sandals made, but now that I’m *ahem* older, I have more restraint *I’m proud of that, oye!*. I actually stopped myself from spending $$$ on a new pair of shoes which will only end up being added to a collection already encroaching onto my husband’s closet space 😀 *and hah, he will soooo not like that* I think in due time he will evict my things (or umm.. junk) from his space!
That didn’t stop me from having this wonderful woman from Anacapri’s Capri Sandals make sandals for my nieces though 🙂
She picks out the right- sized soles for the feet. Once they’ve been picked out, she asked my nieces to choose the strap colors as well as the adornments. Both chose the starfish (they did quite well– I’d have picked the same :D)

And there, she proceeded to make the sandals from scratch!

I may have requested for the sandals to be made for my nieces, but hahaha mom ended up paying for them– she wouldn’t let me 🙂 Thanks Mom for paying for them hahaha, but I need to be partly credited for them *wide grin*

Wouldn’t have minded buying these actually
But nothing beats having something custom- fit and custom- made 🙂 And you can have your sandals custom- made, in Capri *Anacapri* 🙂 Capri’s really well- known for that!
Oh and while you wait for your sandals to be made, why not take a swig or two of Capri’s famous Limoncello? 🙂

P.S. Today is the 9th year death anniversary my dear Daddy. It’s another year of missing his company and his wise words 🙁 Peeps, I hope you can take this time out to give your parents a call to let them know how much you enjoy their company and love them. It’s really difficult not to having both parents around 🙁 I pray that my Father is in a good place right now. I miss you so much, Daddy 🙁
