Travelog: Lake Como (April 2009)

We arrived at Lake Como after another few hours of being on the road. We’ve been so fortunate to have been assigned a really pleasant French driver named Jean Christoph (who drove for us for the entire duration of our trip). *Hello Jean Christoph, if you are reading this!*

The famille was pretty hungry when we got to Como, so we headed straight for the first restaurant we found 🙂 *We’re not really picky eaters hehehe, but we’ve been hitting “jackpot” each time*

Insalata Caprese (my fave!). This lacks fresh basil though 🙁

CrayfishThey were not filling but oh they were soooo good!

Tagliatelle al funghi
And I had lobster spaghetti
When the dinner ended, we took a short walk around before heading to Bellagio.

Another one of my “bicycle” shots. I like taking photos of bicycles 🙂
While we were walking, I saw this store– obviously owned by Benetton 🙂 Undergarments division 😀

By the time we left for Bellagio, it was already past 8pm. Another hour’s drive before we get to our hotel. I was so ready to turn in for bed that time (like a piggie– hehe, eat a lot, be full, then go straight to sleep hahaha).

  1. Hi! I know this is a little of topic, but I’d like to ask you about the quality of Gucci bags. Have you heard of other people having problems with their Gucci Joy Medium shoulder bag, especially the F/W2008 one with the trim?

    Thanks so much!

  2. Hi Mrs T! Can I make an inquiry. Im pretty worried because I bought a Beverly MM Multicolor last September and I recently noticed that the white leather with the mutlicolor monograms on the flap of the bag has turned yellowish or brownish. While the other white parts of the bag remain white. Is that normal? Thanks so much! Love your blog!

  3. oh,it’s alright now. don’t mind answering my question on your previous post. you stayed at the Villa while in Lake Como.
    thanks! 😉
