We spent a bulk of this afternoon on the road and passed by Adare Manor.
Honestly, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the gardens was Mary Katrantzou’s “garden” dress for FW 2012-13 🙂
Adare Manor used to be a castle until it was bought and converted into a castle hotel. It’s a very beautiful hotel and belongs to one of the leading hotels of the world 🙂
My siblings and I did a lot of silly “moves” in front of the manor– LOL, like jump (like cheerleaders) LOL! There are photos of this (hah, evidence!) but I would rather not share because I know you will all lose respect for me and worse, my siblings will thwap me forever for it, haha!
On a serious note, Adare Manor is quite a sight and I would not hesitate to stay there and explore the town for a day or two. Adare Manor also has a golf course by the way, so it would’ve been quite a nice idea to stay there next time (even if I know not how to play golf– there’s always a first time! ).
