Tod’s Fall/ Winter 2010 Collection

The Fall/ Winter 2010 collection of Tod’s was presented today and again, the brand continues to champion one thing: the return to understated elegance and timeless classics.
Some of my favorites:
The Pashmy, season after season, gets a makeover. This time, it’s motorcycle- inspired, made with treated fabric which causes it to crease and wrinkle naturally–
I have traveled countless times with the Tod’s pashmy. It’s by far one of my all- time favorite travel bags. The Pashmy can be carried on the shoulder as a hobo, and its strap can be adjusted for cross- body carry too, which comes in handy especially when you travel with young children. This bag is Highly Recommended!!
The larger Pashmy hobo bag has the signature little nubbies of Tod’s on its sides and bottom.
This particular hobo with exterior diagonal zippers reminded me a bit of the older Botkier bags. Very lightweight bag though!
Tod’s has always used very good, high quality leather.  Here’s a look of their leathers up close.
Classic pebbled calf leather
Buffalo leather on the D bag
Matte crocodile leather
The women’s satchel with rolled handles in textured calfskin.
And the shoes, which I feel I must feature:
I like those 2 lace-up boots. They look really comfy for travel!
The well- shod PR of Tod’s who flew in from Hong Kong for the event today wore these:
To see these bags and shoes up close, best to visit Tod’s (distributed by Stores Specialists Inc.) in Greenbelt 4, Makati.

How was your Tuesday, everyone? 🙂
