TODAY is THE day! Tresor goes “retail” :)

Wow, I can’t believe I was real tense today. I guess the reality of having a store has begun to sink in. The store is pretty small to begin with, but I am totally glad that I had partnered up with EAI and DCV (Tinsley , D! Luxe). I didn’t think I could have done it on my own, to be real honest. So, to EAI and DCV, thank you! *Hugs* And although initially my family and DH were all not too keen on the idea of a “physical” store as an addition to my online “boutique”, they were nevertheless emotionally supportive, giving feedback about the ups and downs of retail. It’s not easy, I know. But life is really a gamble, isn’t it? It’s all about risks and perfect timing, so it’s fingers crossed for me for the rest of the season, that we three do well 🙂

Rest assured too, that Tresormakati.com will still be maintained regularly 🙂 Although there may be some bags in- store that are not in the site, not all online posted bags are available at the store. Tresormakati.com operations remain separate from the store (fine line, but I treat these two as my babies. Not just ONE baby, but TWO :D).

Anyyyway, enough store talk for now. Just do try to pass by Tresorie today, as it is our first day as ‘retailers’ 😀 Now, here’s a bag I’ve been meaning to blog about!

Fendi Crackled Leather Bag. Move over YSL Muse, hello Fendi Crackled leather bag! If simplicity was the order of the day, then this bag will surely win. The detail alone (crackled leather– in silver!) is enough to razzle dazzle an otherwise nondescript oversized bag. This is it baghags, you must have a metallic bag this season. It works well to segue from the dead heat of summer well into the rainy days (or our version of Fall… but then again, there’s always that silver Goyard croisiere for the rainy day haha) *Flower girl was actually the one who asked for my opinion about the silver Goyard bags– I thought it was just the Beluga. I didn’t realize she even mentioned the silver croisiere! My bad!!!* Anyway, this Fendi bag is priced at US$1,410 at Neimanmarcus.com

Time for thebaghag *wannabe really* to sleep now. I’ve been packing some more things for the store and I need shuteye. But before that, I think I shall go to the porker (the fridge haha) and grab a bite. I’m getting hungry… I wonder what I can find in there haha….

The building houses the flagship store of Nullah (the “landmark” haha). We will be open today from 12 noon til 8pm 😀 APPLEGARDE leather kits will be available for pickup there.
