Thebaghag lands on US Soil

Thebaghag is now in San Francisco, battling jet lag. Tsk, what a waste of time, right? Between taking care of bills, getting appointments for car servicing, and cleaning house, you will find me in my bed or in DM’s bed, sleeping 🙂 *like a log!!*

It’s been a crazy 2 weeks– I haven’t even finished blogging about Paris yet! *pffft*. Anyway, although I now have online access, I can tell you that my online speed is just pathetic. You see, I am currently on dial-up. Don’t ask why anymore– bottom line, thebaghag is too cheap to have that 1 year lock-up for DSL. I mean, I don’t wanna hafta pay something like US$30 a month for internet that I won’t be using for the rest of the year. I just need internet while I’m here! And from where I currently am, there are no stores selling these prepaid internet cards. I was once told, “why buy a prepaid card, it’s so cheap to get DSL.”

Umm of course I didn’t bother explaining to the kind man at Best Buy anymore on why I can’t take DSL.

Anyway, I am going to start taking photos tomorrow since these two days have just been spent in bed, or on the road, taking care of business. When I visit a mall, you’ll definitely hear about it.

Take care peeps, and I hope you are all doing great!

  1. hi mrs t. kinda off topic..but i wanna know how to clean the lock that goes with the speedy. its kinda tarnished already. thanks. – gigi

  2. The Bay Area has chunks of FREE Public WiFi in most towns/cities.. Not to mention that most households have their own WiFi networks too so you wouldn’t be surprised if you can get a neighbor’s signal from your bedroom along with the city’s public WiFi. If your laptop doesn’t have WiFi built-in, you can get a WiFi card for less than $30 at Fry’s..

Oh, btw, had fun reading your blog.. It all started with the photographer insulting your building security guard.. some people! What goes around, comes around…
