The Long, Busy Week + Celestina

Whee a long weekend ahead! Sorry for not having blogged the last few days. I’ve been running around town doing all sorts of things and errands. Yes, it’s been a pretty busy week (not like you reallly care, right? haha). But the busy week was worth it. I was one of the 10 ladies invited by Celebrity Duets winner TessaV to this mid-morning tea party at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Hotel. I was actually pretty clueless about what the occasion really was, and so were the other ladies. But we enjoyed the food 🙂 I loved this avocado concoction (protein shake haha)

Here were the pretty ladies:Inquirer’s Apples, Kay, Jojo, TravelLife’s Liza, Judith
Leica, Mia *with a Celestine croc tote*, and Celebrity Duets winner, TessaV

Well, Tessa basically wanted to reintroduce the new Spa treatments and Yoga classes at Mandarin Oriental’s The Spa. It was my first time to go there (since I’m really just too much of a penny pincher to pay for that whole 9 yards of a Spa treatment! *Sad eh haha* That and I’ve just been a terrible time manager that I don’t have time for it).

But there is reason for me to go to The Spa now. We were each going to be treated to a 2 hour 50 minute Spa treatment which is tailor made for our specific needs (i.e. hilot, target massage etc) *wooohooo!!*. We also took home a certificate which would allow us to try the Yoga classes for two sessions as well as a body scrub! *Yeeehaw, talk about some major freebies!!* The day couldn’t have been beat! This really gives me reason to stop and “smell the roses”so to speak. My aura must’ve been a bright red, because my mind has been on overdrive lately and even though I sleep, I still find my mind working, working, working. Ok, so I am not really physically considered a workaholic (I’d frankly rather spend the whole day sleeping *Snort snort like a pig*), but my mind sure is a workaholic!

The next day, I was again treated to a *cough free* anti-ageing facial treatment. This is for a “project” of a good friend of mine (if projects were all like this– me being the guinea pig and on the receiving end of something that feels fantastic, I’m all for it hahaha). I can’t reveal much about the project, but this much I can tell you– I normally cringe at the thought of getting my face “cleaned” by a dermatologist (i.e. try zapping Fabio into oblivion– by the way he still IS HERE with me), but I’ve never really had these awesome exfoliating- moisturizing- collagen applying treatments. Thanks to this “project”, I loooove facials now haha. My face has never felt smoother! It feels like a baby’s bumbum! 😀 *it’s ok, my face also somewhat looks like a baby’s bum hehe*. Dang, I can live this kinda life for quite some time! *muwahaha a true tai tai!*. But nah, pathetic ol’ me had to go back to work the very next day (which is today).

Anyway as I had promised earlier, here are the accessories that Celestina also now offers.

Shagreen sunglasses (too cool actually :D) and then a locket necklace with different stones (cat’s eye, lapiz…)

Ok I’m liking that blue ring.. It’s ginormous though haha. I wonder if this is a bead necklace made of bone? It’s pretty! Then there were the seashell rings, earrings.

Beautiful MOP cuff with malachites capped in gold.
And this statement necklace. It’s a very modern twist on the native tamburin necklaces which I saw in Baguio. Very pretty and pretty ingenious of her to come up with this design– the tamburin is set on an oval MOP plate.

Anyway baghags, time for me to get going again. The week is about to end, and I’m not done with sorting out my to-do list! (One of them is sorting out which Goyard bags are going on the Cash Break Sale at TRESORIE :D)

Hope you all have a good weekend!

P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to TinaN of Ilaya Couture 🙂 We had the grandest time last night at Maurizio’s! 🙂
xx
