Ladies (and Gents)! It’s that time of the year– in fact, in exactly 14 days, we celebrate Christmas! And this also happens to again be the perfect time for me to clean out my closet of bags that I no longer use– as these will need to go to better homes!
Along the same lines again, I am earmarking some of my own pieces to be sold (and special thanks to my friend DCV as well as fellow baghag JanetteC who have sent over their bags as well) to help my Nana’s families in Leyte, as 3 of her siblings and their families– 2 from BayBay and 1 from Ormoc had lost everything they had to Yolanda. Honestly, I have always remained somewhat detached when it comes to news about people who have been affected by calamities, but this time around, tragedy like this really hit close to home. I guess it is true what they say– that you won’t really know what it’s like until you experience it yourself. And while we were fortunate to have been spared, it is equally disheartening to see a loved- one cry over relatives that had not yet been heard from (at the time), and disheartening to see the pain in her eyes and how she struggles to move forward knowing her siblings are in dire need (and the news that no government agency had yet gone to their area to help or distribute relief goods until just last week– nearly 1 month after the typhoon left the country). Anyway, enough rambling on from me, I’m already posting some of the bags for Sale to benefit my Nana’s families here. At least with the proceeds, I do know for sure that it is going straight to her siblings who have been directly affected, as opposed to agencies who channel funds to smaller groups as well. Accountability this way is straightforward.

This Mulberry Bag in Taupe, donated by baghag JanetteC. It’s in excellent condition, very clean and doesn’t look like it was carried and comes with the dustbag still! PRICE: PhP 20,000 / US$455
Furla Amalfi in Red: The bag is in very good condition though there are some stain marks at the bottom right side of the bag as well as a little mark by the pocket flap. I’ve gotten good use out of this bag and it is really an excellent day-to-day piece. PRICE: PhP 8,500 / US$ 195
Fendi Yellow Snakeskin Baguette: An oldie but goodie, this Fendi baguette still has some excellent use left for the next owner. Very good condition for vintage and makes for a great clutch! Fendi dustbag included. PRICE: PhP 8,000 / US$ 182
This Goyard Silver Croisiere comes handpainted with a crown, stripes, and my initials at the back. In the past, I had managed to successfully remove my initials (from another Goyard bag) and it just left a “shadow” so hopefully you’ll be able to take it out too– I’d have done it but at the moment I have no time 🙁 PRICE: PhP 15,000 / US $ 340

Hermes Red Vibrato 35cm Birkin with Palladium Hardware, Blindstamped H (2004). Comes with 2 keys, 1 lock, dustbag, and Hermes box. This is now considered a very special piece because Hermes does not make vibratos only because they take too much time to do! The birkin below is in excellent condition, still with plastic on hardware and was hardly carried! And of course, it is as always, guaranteed authentic. PRICE: PhP 385,000/ US$ 8,750

And a Hermes Evelyne GM in Blue Jean without dustbag or box but still in very good condition for PRICE: PhP 30,000 / US$ 682.
