True, it’s not extraordinary to hear a shoe designer and shoemaker to collect shoes, but Stuart’s wife Jane Gershon- Weitzman collects shoes that are not exactly wearable but are without a doubt, works of art! And these shoes have graced the windows of Stuart Weitzman’s flagship store in New York for years.
A book called Art & Sole, curated by Stuart’s wife Jane, features the best of these fantasy art shoes (150 of them) from the Stuart Weitzman collection. These shoes of art are made from different materials like wire,
fresh flowers,
corrugated cardboard,
paper, 
and even ceramic and icing sugar!
The proceeds from the sale of Art & Sole will be donated to ovarian and breast cancer research.
Incidentally, Stuart Weitzman shoes and these famous “Made for Walking” 5050 boots (a personal favorite of Angelina Jolie
and of course, of Kate Moss who is now SW’s brand ambassador)
are now available at the recently opened Stuart Weitzman boutique in SM Aura Premier, the 98th global boutique of the brand.
