*Gulp* I never thought I’d be in this situation to say this, but I actually am beginning to believe in the power of crystals. Yes. It’s so Occult but hey, it’s also becoming mainstream– I know so000 many friends who got into this crystals and healing thing late last year and this year! I mean, with the recession these days, people are willing to believe anything that gives them hope (and I know that these crystals do give them hope).
Anyway, tourmaline is said to be a “teller” stone and aids in “telling” what (or who) is causing the problem. In the last few days of my wearing the bracelet, a few “truths” have revealed themselves to me (scary). I freaked out because the “truths” actually have nothing to do with me! (in other words, information I don’t really need to know hahaha). It was honestly a little too freaky for me. I will not detail the experience, but believe me when I say it was really FREAKY! I told my friend about it and she knowingly nodded her head and told me “I told you, that’s a teller stone.”
– LAPIS LAZULI (blue with gold specks): Can help cure insomnia, calm your nerves.
– CITRINE (transparent yellow): Merchant stone, for prosperity and draws in wealth. Also good for digestive disorders *I bought this stone because it was helping me with my digestive problems*
– CARNELIAN (orangey brown): Stimulates metabolism and also helps with depression as well as rheumatism.
– MALACHITE (green): Protection stone and absorbs negative energies.
– ROSE QUARTZ (pink): Stone of unconditional love and infinite peace. Perfect for attracting love. Also aids in chest and lung problems. Increases fertility.
– AMETHYST (purple): Eases headaches and tension and blocks stress. Also heals diseases of lungs and respiratory tract. Helps you have a “peaceful” sleep.
– BLUE LACE AGATE (lilac- light blue): Brings peace of mind and calmness. Also is a powerful throat healer.
– LABRADORITE (grayish- blue with sheen): Calms an overactive mind, and is a protective stone, deflecting unwanted negative energy. Also treats menstrual tension. (This is the stone I wear when I travel)
Anyway, my take on this now is, if it does help, why not. The stones look good anyway. My partner (whom we now fondly call “the stone doctor”) seems to know which stones work best for her clients, and many have been coming back for more.
But this much I can say– the stones seem to have worked for me (especially the citrine). So if you want more information about the stones, pass by ACCESSORY LAB at the 2/F Rockwell Power Plant Mall *Tel 890-9011* for the healing bracelets and other jewelry (I know this seems like a shameless plug, but it isn’t– it just happens to be conveniently available in our store– a place where I got my own stone bracelets *P.S. Yes, I guess this constitutes as a shameless plug, but oye, I don’t make these. So there.* But since I don’t want to be accused of majorly plugging our brand *which I already was accused of doing by the way*, you can also visit the Yin and Yang Shop of Harmony of Princess Fernandez at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel *Princess is one of the kindest women I know, and happens to be the daughter of my mom’s high school friend!*– she can likewise give you stone prescriptions for fengshui and health 😀 )
If you do get your crystal bracelets elsewhere though, be extremely careful because there are stores that sell acrylic or Swarovski-like crystals and say they’re natural stones (when they’re not). Be very careful of those who misrepresent their merchandise as the real deal and make you pay $ for them.
Anyway peeps, hope you all have a good, long weekend ahead 🙂 I’m taking a little breather with my famille and will be back next week!
