Shoes on My Wish List

Sorry I didn’t blog earlier today. I actually was running around like a headless chicken finishing up organizing my kid’s last minute birthday party with schoolmates at our favorite weekend haunt, Cafe Publico. It turned out very well much to my relief, thanks especially to RovinaU *who lent me the costume because it was nearly impossible to find this costume anywhere– my kid requested for one so late already so this mother had no time to order one!*, and also special thanks to Purple Balloons (contact Cathy Ip at 0917.807.731 or 0922.807.7319) for accommodating me at such last minute. We originally planned for a small no-frills get together for my DK and the schoolmates. And then a week before the bday, “mini- me” shoves a “checklist” my way and tells me there is a theme and there should be games and a costume. I panicked! Luckily Cathy Ip made my life so easy. All I needed was to approve or not approve! 🙂 So Cathy, Thank you!!

Anyway, party went very well as I had mentioned, and all the kids were happy campers, including of course the celebrant :)! Mommy duties fulfilled! So now it’s blog time!

Oh dear, it’s indeed February which means, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Whaaaat, another expense?! *I can hear my husband whining already LOL*. Hah! Can us girls expect something nice from our loved ones? I know, it’s so partial of me to say that but oye men, why don’t you blame it on Hallmark? LOL. Now, if you don’t have anyone to share Valentine’s Day with, it’s totally cool because you can buy yourself something special as a reminder that before you love someone, you should always love yourself first! Riiiiight? 🙂 You deserve it!

Now, here are some of the things I want *selfiiiish*. Actually I just want shoes– one pair is great, but 2 is even better!

1. Gucci Delphine Python Suede and Metallic Leather Sandals

I profess my love for this pair of shoes! There is nothing I don’t like about it. I just hope my wallet will like this pair as much as I do LOL. This pair is available at Saks Fifth Avenue.

2. Gucci Delphine Suede and Metallic Leather Wedge Sandals

I might settle for this pair if I can’t buy the first pair I featured *sob*. This wedge is just as pretty and well, lower- heeled and perhaps easier to walk in. Also available at Saks Fifth Avenue.

What do you peeps think of those 2 pairs? Sigh… here I thought I was over my shoe obsession. Know what though, a woman can really never have enough shoes! And wouldn’t wearing new shoes be perfect for Valentine’s Day? 🙂 *Hint, men!*
