LOOK Magazine + Philippine Daily Inquirer (by the way, PDI is the #1 newspaper in the country, with 1.2M national urban readers 😀 congratulations!!!) hosted an advanced screening of Sex and the City 2 last night at Robinson’s Galleria.
I was lucky enough to have been invited by my Inquirer editor TSS + LOOK Magazine editor- in- chief Mel Cuevas, so of course, I had to attend, for these simple reasons: this was my friend’s event, LOOK Magazine is a very good magazine (hehehe, I proudly write for them *beams*), and of course, SATC 2 is THE most anticipated movie of the year 🙂

Now I won’t be talking about the movie here because I don’t want to spoil it for you peeps– I will watch the movie again in a few days (the actual showing date) and that’s when I’ll write a post about it 😀
Two things of “fashion” note in the movie are the Hermes ostrich birkin of Samantha (I still have trouble determining if the bag used was a real Hermes bag. Tina of Bagsnob.com informed me that it was a Haut a Courroies… I will do a double/triple/quadruple take again in a few days :D); and another noteworthy “piece” is Carrie’s 4- leaf clover necklace
which is by Patricia Field for Payless! *yes, THE Payless Shoe Source store!!* Payless by the way, will be opening in Manila come July 2010 😀 *hehehe a bulk of my kids’ shoes are from Payless!*
Suffice to say, SATC 2 x Inquirer- LOOK Magazine was a well- attended event– I also ran into Charisse Chudian of Mandarin Oriental Manila at the end of the movie 🙂 *hi Charisse!*.
