I’m saddened by the news of Patrick Swayze’s departure from the corporeal world after having battled pancreatic cancer for 2 years…
He will be most remembered for his roles in Dirty Dancing
and of course, for Ghost 
(which is arguably one of the most romantic movies of all time)
He also starred in Point Break with one of my *heart* actors, Keanu Reeves.
Rest in peace… Here’s something for you all to remember him by…

Another favorite Swayze movie is ToWong-Foo, with Love, Julie Newmar. Loved him, John Leguizamo and Wesley Snipes in drag.

oh yes, i forgot about Point Break. he’s really cold in that one. i watched all these and i enjoyed them all.

@Aina: YES! I loved To Wong Foo!! I watched that in college with a bunch of friends in this town theater and we just cracked up biiiig time! So sad he’s gone 🙁 I really like “She’s like the wind” too… that song has soul *at least to me it sounds like it has “soul”*
@TomT: yeah. He’s a great actor. Once a serious heartthrob of our generation too (thanks to Ghost– and to Dirty Dancing!!) RIP indeed…
