I wasn’t honestly planning on attending the Vionnet presentation initially even if I loved their clothes the past season. My girl friend though, insisted on going to see it, so together with my other friend from the UK, we went to the presentation. Arrived a few minutes too late but managed to see a few pieces still. There are perhaps 2 dresses that would be red carpet worthy.
This was one of them. A little casual still (perhaps because of the way it was styled, but I loved the simplicity of it), but it would definitely pass for the red carpet. Beautiful miroir details.
When it comes to gowns, the look should be just as good from the back view as it is from the front.

Vionnet has never disappointed me. I did wish I got the chance to see the presentation in full length though. But ahh, this is fashion week. Time is precious so we couldn’t linger on 🙁 Though I have to say I saw enough to remain impressed.
