Our Humble Abode + Things to Do in Paradise

Here’s the beach casita where we are currently staying

It’s world-class!  Two beds, including two daybeds (which are perfect for your kids should you decide to bring them)
Windows all around

Private road to our beach

Our beach

A few steps away from the casita, is the Beach Club.

We had our brunch here. I had longanisa 🙂

My friends had the Air dried angus beef (aka Tapa :D)

After the brunch, there were so many activities to choose from. And ever the adventurous baghag, I did them all *hehehe*

Took a nice siesta here, while listening to my Cafe Del Mar songs that DH loaded on my iPhone. (DH: you will like Amanpulo because although you can’t go under the sun, you can stay in the beach club– they have free WiFi– in fact, even in our casitas, there is free WiFi 🙂

You can also kayak, which is exactly what I did 😀

(Yes that’s me. Don’t even attempt to enlarge the photo hahaha. I am soooo not planning to post a tight shot of what I wore. *Muwahahahaha)
The water was SO clear, you can see the fishes!

And then you can also snorkel! Which is what we all did. We took the yacht to the middle of the clear waters. It was my first time to snorkel– and I saw beautiful corals and soooo many schools of fish!!  In so many colors too! And there were these beautiful, huge starfishes in blue! It was really, really amazing. I initially wore one of those floater vests, but eventually I took it out *woohoo* because I was able to dive a little deeper to be with the fishes! (Sorry no underwater pics haha– my G10 doesn’t do underwater) And it was also during snorkeling where we met one of the guests of Amanpulo, Lee 🙂 Hi Lee! *waves*
After the snorkeling, we went straight for the massage at the Spa casita.

It was bliss!! I was able to get some shuteye 😉

After that, there was time to watch the sun set and clown around 😉 *Wannabe ballerina.. but oh thank goodness I didn’t crack my bones while doing this hahaha* There– I wore a muu muu (NOT a tutu hahaha).
Tomorrow I’ll blog about the wonderful people who made our Amanpulo stay unforgettable. Plus, I will also be posting photos of the 4- bedroom private villas (available also for sale– at a cool figure of between US$2,000,000 to US$4,000,000 *yes, that’s between Php 96M – Php200M *eye popping figures!!* )

  1. Gawd, no words to describe that place! WOW!!!! 🙂

It makes me want to sing that song from a PAL TVC ages ago… “The beauty of the Philippines is shining through….” LOL!

  2. I miss the beach! 🙂 I miss the sun! 🙂 Eating breakfast by the beach is bliss! Your DH is same with my SO. SO likes the beach but doesn’t like to bathe in the sun or swim. LOL.

Amanpulo, you and I will meet someday. 🙂

  3. @Glenn: It’s really a place I’d like to keep coming back to– I’d drop everything just to go back to Amanpulo.

@appledumplings: Oh my DH is allergic to sun hahaha. DH was just happy reading about my adventures. But after I sent him videos of Amanpulo, he said that he does want to see Amanpulo when his skin improves. So there is hope 🙂 Besides, Amanpulo has WiFi so he won’t be bored if he can’t do watersports or just bum around on the beach 🙂

@Angelo: LoL! I know that song! 🙂 the Philippines is really beautiful. This beach really exceeded my expectations. I’m so glad I went!!!

    @Veronika: It IS heaven 😉

  4. looking at your photos is making me want to go back to amanpulo. the hubby surprised me with a trip there for our honeymoon a few years ago. it is definitely heaven on earth! 🙂
