ODE to CHANEL

I will keep this post short but sweet.

Thank to your comments the other day about my HK loot, hags, I was NOT able to sleep well that very night– yes, with Nyquil and all (Nyquil rendered useless?? SHOCK! Hehe *officially a Nyquil druggie yikes!*)

I happened to know my baghag friend and new hot mom MC was in Hong Kong so, in what seemed like a futile attempt to get her to look for the CHANEL plum 2.55 bag, I just had to send her an SMS nevertheless.

“MC, girl, can you just go take a look at this blah blah bag at Chanel?” A few hours later, I get a call. “Girl! They have a large one in this style and color… Do you want the large or the medium?” I took one large gulp. The moment of truth arrived. And there I thought MC would not have the time to check this bag out for me. Uh-oh. She did. I suddenly felt those lumps in my throat again. Not hyperacidity lumps nor the sore throat that I already have. It’s the “Oh-sh*t-will-I-regret-this-purchase…-why-oh-why-did-the-bag-have-t0-be-available” lumps. I could not hear myself talking anymore…

*BLACK OUT*

Fast forward to 3:00PM today, at Via Mare with MC (who showed us her beautiful new Chloe Paddington bag in steel blue) and my other friend RT.

WHERE DID THIS BAG COME FROM?!?!?! *shock, stun, awe!!!*

Ok, ok, so I have another confession, right? *a lil too late for THAT!*I bought the bag, and it certainly did NOT disappoint. *jump up and down* But here’s the deal with a new bag. A few will have to go (and my new baghag friend JS got one hehehe).

And I have chosen this Jumbo CHANEL 2.55. It is in very good condition, very minimal scratches on the leather, and the authenticity hologram sticker is still intact! The hardware has no tarnish and only has scratches on the twistlock, but otherwise, this bag is all good 🙂 It measures a nice 12″L x 8″H x 4.5″W. Pretty roomy bag! It will come with its original dustbag as well as the authenticity card and the care booklet 🙂 Note that a new large (not even jumbo) 2.55 bag already costs Php 108K. My selling price for this baby is Php 55,000. 🙂

Ok time to get some shuteye.

P.S. I’m also liking the CHANEL Cerf (thanks to perennial bag addict IV). Uh oh 😀 *hehehe* A beige one would be nice, won’t it? 🙂 *Scream!!! ENOUGH OBSESSING ALREADY!!!* Hehehe
