Merry Christmas once again everyone! I know you’re probably thinking that I had abandoned this blog– nope I haven’t, although I have taken to going on vacation from it for a few days to spend time with family on the lead-up to Christmas day. It’s a special time for me and the family and I thought that spending less time on my laptop and internet would do me a little good. Believe me, it has been years since I have actually done this and hey, I actually felt good about it 🙂
But no, I have definitely not forgotten about blogging at all! Bags are still on my mind, natch! I’ve recently begun to look at newer designer brands and one of the labels that caught my eye is Pour La Victoire.
One particular style had me taking full notice of the brand. The Pour La Victoire Yves Medium Origami Tote:
I ended up buying the bag for myself this Christmas after seeing the versatility of the style wherein you can tuck the sides by zipping them up, making the bag so much more streamlined, or leaving the sides open to be carried as a very spacious but structured tote.
I have not had a proper all- black bag for a few years now and I must say that I’ve been very happy with this Pour La Victoire Yves Tote. The bag is honestly not as pricey as the other designer bags and the saffiano leather (textured but fine) is quite resistant to scratches and is structured though not too stiff. It actually reminded me of the Prada saffiano leathers (they are of the same material).
