Milan Fashion Week: Roberto Cavalli, FW 2014- 15

One of the most memorable shows during Milan married the “wow” factor of a collection presentation with the collection itself, and Roberto Cavalli seems to have excelled in both.

The show was hot– both literally and figuratively, as it had elements of both fire and water. The runway was formed around a ring of fire, floating above water. It was really an incredible sight to see.

It was really W-O-W!

This was one of my favorites

I had a hard time taking photos because it got a little too warm– and actually I am glad I stopped photographing because this gave me the chance to take the whole collection in with my own eyes, something that I have not really done in quite a while because I always get too busy “focusing” from behind the lens to give you all good photos 🙂

So, courtesy of Style.com’s photographers, here are some of my favorite looks from the show. I think the styling was done incredibly well too, leaving me wanting everything I saw 😀

This coat is beautiful– and the pairing with snakeskin and fur was incredible!

Another Art- Deco inspired coat worth coveting for Fall, paired with the tightest leather pants. Sooo hot!!

A classic military coat over that intrecciato leather skirt. This has to be my favorite look, and I’d love to wear this out! Cavalli makes beautiful “movement” clothes, hands down!

In keeping with the theme– fire! The lines on this dress are very flattering.

Take me back to the roaring 20s!

I’ve walked away from Roberto Cavalli’s shows for several seasons now with those same exact feelings of “I want to wear everything”, and the show for the FW 2014-15 collection is no exception! Definitely one of the best shows of Milan Fashion Week for me!
