MFW: Dolce and Gabbana SS 2012: An Italian Celebration!

The Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer 2012 paid homage to my favorite country, Italia! The first thing I saw backstage was the pasta charms on the bag I zeroed in on, and I knew that it was without a doubt going to be fun collection that will leave many wanting more. I was right. When the models began parading the produce prints, I was so giddy with excitement, doing mental notes on which prints and styles I’d like to have. An Italian food fest is what I was treated to– and everyone around me was raving about the produce prints even while the show was ongoing!

Eggplants!

Zucchini. One of my favorite vegetables, and now one of my favorite prints from Dolce & Gabbana

Pumpkins in motion

The clothes move sooo beautifully
This is really a huuuuge favorite! With the bag, this is my “Red Hot Chili Pasta” look 🙂 Super love!!

Moving onto more intricate details, the flowers

Incredible details!

A metallic blue pvc weave “picnic” bag! How very appropriate! 🙂

And if you want to take it a few luxe levels higher, Dolce & Gabbana will only continue to impress– bring on the bling!!

Detailed corset decorated with colorful crystals! Remember the detailed shot I took while backstage? This was it!

And the pinup girls took to the stage once again in different colored/ textured corsets, the signature Dolce & Gabbana look!

Bravo, Domenico and Stefano!!! You know how to give us all La Dolce Vita!

P.S. I want that pasta bag! I can’t wait to see it on LUISAVIAROMA!
